REBID - An opportunity that occurs only once every 10 years is being provided by the Retail Liquor Licensing Board (RLLB) and the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration (WVABCA). Authorization to initiate the 2010 License Bid Process for 135 retail liquor stores throughout the State will begin on February 22, 2010 and be a competitive bidding process. The deadline to submit bids is 5:00 pm EST on April 17, 2010.  For more information or to receive a retail bid packet go to: www.abca.wv.gov/rebid or call the WVABCA at 1-800-642-8208.

Corporate Buyout / Location Transfers - The WVABCA will no longer process corporate buyout or location transfer applications effective Feb. 1, 2010.

On September 22nd the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration hosted their 19th Annual Trade Show in conjuction with the West Virginia Retailers Association in the capitol city of Charleston.  Read more.....

 Be prepared for the flu
     1.  Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. 
     2.  Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. 
     3.  Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way. 
     4.  Try to avoid close contact with sick people. 
     5.  If you are sick with flu-like illness, stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone.
     6.  While sick, limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
